Don’t tell me it’s impossible

Story: I have a morning devotion, 20-30 minutes every day to just get my day started out right, and usually I have devotion guide I use with daily stuff, you know, you’ve seen them.

Today I forgot it, left it on the shelf and was frankly too lazy to go get it 😉
You know you’ve done that too…
Anyway- so I sit down thinking “Hmm, wonder what I’ll read today…” and I did the page flip, you know the one where you just kinda flip the pages and BOOM I stopped right in Luke 1 and the first thing that jumped out at me was a circled verse– this one “For with God nothing is impossible.”

Now you have to understand, I don’t write in my Bible, never have, probably never will. But this one was circled and it was all I could see on the page. And it was oh so powerful today.
Right now I am sitting in the middle of impossible. I have a huge, big, gigantic, scary dream in my sight and as it stands right now, there is no way I can get there. I was doubting this morning when I looked at my numbers thinking “We ain’t gonna make it….”
But with God.
Absolutely nothing is impossible for God.

And that’s a promise you can bank on. He can do anything he wants, EVERYTHING is within his power. And boy is is GREAT to know that I have a relationship with him, that I am his child and that he loves me, wants to see me happy, and he cares for me!

On the hard days, and yes, I have hard days, I hold on to that promise.

On the days like today when my team numbers are really really low I am holding on to his promise to give me my dreams. It’s not easy, I won’t even lie to you and say it is, it’s really hard some days, but those hard days make the great days completely worth the struggle.

I hope this encourages you like it did me. I hope this turns your day around like it did mine. And I pray that if you don’t have the relationship with God that you reach out to him and ask him to be your savior! <3
